Pathfinders and the Historic Hills Scenic ByWay are excited to be working with the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) to coordinate a regional cultural council and promote the arts in Southeast Iowa. The DCA granted Pathfinders and the Historic Hills ByWay $5,000 to work on arts and cultural engagement in the region.
Historic Hills scenic byway is a 110-miles long and takes travelers through Wapello, Appanoose, Davis, Van Buren, and Lee counties. Pathfinders’ ByWay Coordinator, Diana Hughell, meets regularly with local stakeholder groups to help develop the visitor experience along the byway.
