Bloomfield, Blakesburg, Moravia, and Wapello County

Explore the southern part of Iowa and enjoy unique french architecture, Amish culture, locally owned restaurants, first class accommodations, and outdoor activities. There’s a bit of history at each of these featured locations - all ages welcome!


Day 1

Built in 1877, using Second Empire architecture, the Davis County Courthouse features a tower with a Kimberly Bell, an original Seth Thomas clock, and is topped by a Lady of Justice statue. The Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Day 2

After enjoying breakfast at the Rathbun Lakeshore Grille Restaurant at Honey Creek Resort, you can travel right down the road to Moravia, Iowa. There, you will find the Wabash Depot Museum Complex.
