Brian Morgan serves on the Board of Directors at Pathfinders RC&D and is a Wapello County Supervisor. He is serving his first term as a Supervisor and a Pathfinders’ board member, joining both groups in the first part of 2017.
Brian says he is, “looking forward to working with Pathfinders because investing in conservation is important. Economic development and housing are also areas that our region can really benefit from.” Pathfinders continues to explore and seek new ways to support regional economic development and housing, and we look forward to what the future might bring.
Brian was born and raised in Wapello county; he lives there with his wife and three kids. For over 15 years, Brian volunteered with the youth in his community as a baseball coach.
After serving one term on the Ottumwa City Council, Brian was inspired to run for county supervisor last year. He is now excited to be serving his community and addressing their important issues, like mental health and economic development.
Brian wanted to run his own small business, and his entrepreneurial passion culminated into opening his own restaurant: Morgan’s Corner Bar & Grill. Be sure to find them on Facebook, and stop by for a bite and say hello!
