A new business has just opened in Bloomfield! You can find The Red Shed on Route 2/ US Hwy 63, a few miles east of the Historic Hills Scenic Byway.
Owners Joe and Rose Dotterer opened their doors this month and are thrilled to offer an eclectic assortment of home goods and treats to the Bloomfield community and beyond.
“Nearly everything is made in the Midwest,” said Joe, standing by a rack of patchwork-style skirts and hand-woven baskets. In addition to items from, Minnesota, Illinois and Nebraska, Joe and Rose are pleased to be selling products made locally, including rugs, hickory furniture, horse collar clocks, rustic wall hooks, jellies & jams, cheese curds, and even beef from their own farm.

They make a wide variety of sweets, including dark chocolate caramels, toffee crunch, and peanut butter buckeyes, to name just a few!
