The 14th Annual Project Aware will be held July 11 – 15 on the Lower Des Moines River, between Eldon (Wapello Co.) and the Turkey Run Access (Lee Co.).

Each year hundreds of volunteers take time to clean-up a stretch of an Iowa River. The event is a 5-day, 4 night event (Monday through Friday) with Monday and Friday being half days on the river and Tuesday through Thursday full days on the river.
The event is organized by the Iowa DNR and more information is available on the Project Aware website.
