The guide was developed by local volunteers and a collaboration between Pathfinders RC&D, Jefferson County Supervisors, Jefferson County Mental Health Office, and the Jefferson County Hunger Dialogue.

Offers free pregnancy testing, prenatal classes, parenting, life skills classes, mentoring, counseling (pregnancy, adoption, and post termination), health and nutrition, home skills, abstinence, and STD education. Earn While You Learn program allows women to earn 'mommy bucks' which can be redeemed for car seats, cribs, diapers, and clothing.

The SEIL Region 24 hour crisis line provides immediate help to individuals and families of people in emotional crisis. Trained crisis intervention specialists are available to receive crisis calls 24 hours a day, every day. Staff provides prompt and compassionate crisis intervention, information, referrals for follow-up service, and support to individuals experiencing emotional distress or psychiatric crisis including depression, suicide and loneliness.
