The guide was developed by local volunteers and a collaboration between Pathfinders RC&D, Jefferson County Supervisors, Jefferson County Mental Health Office, and the Jefferson County Hunger Dialogue.

Help with emergency housing after a natural disaster or fire.
Sieda Community Action Resource Center

Helps crisis assistance with past-due bills, school supplies, Christmas presents, and some emergency clothing.
Southeast Iowa Regional Housing Authority (SIRHA)
SEIRHA administers a Section 8 Rental Assistance Program, also known as the Housing Choice Voucher Program. The program allows qualified applicants the freedom to choose quality privately owned housing throughout their community while maintaining rent payments that they can afford.
USDA Rural Development
Provides rent assistance, housing loans and grants. Serves Jefferson County residents.
