Project Description
The purpose of our work in the Crow Creek watershed was to complete an assessment to help residents and local decision makers understand threats and opportunities regarding soil and water quality and conservation, which could be impacted by land use and development decisions.

Crow Creek begins near the Fairfield municipal airport and travels south through MUM campus, Waterworks Park, Chautauqua Park, Lamson Woods and eventually empties into Cedar Creek near Highway 1. The watershed is 11,535 acres in size, and nearly 60 percent of the City of Fairfield lies within the watershed.
Our Role
Pathfinders acted as the project coordinator. We ensured that project deliverable and milestones were met. We facilitated communication between all project stakeholders via regular in-person meetings and email communication. We were also involved in collecting data and writing the final report that is now available online HERE.
