Project Description
Aging infrastructure and updated policy necessitate that many towns enhance their existing water and wastewater systems. The enhancements can result in increased capacity at water treatment facilities, reduced sanitary sewer overflows, and reduced infiltration and inflow (I/I). To construct these costly improvements, the City of Fairfield and City of Brighton applied to the USDA Rural Development’s Water and Waste Disposal Loan and Grant Program.
Our Role
Pathfinders acted as a liaison between City staff and USDA Rural Development Staff. We compiled information and data needed to apply to the Water and Waste Disposal Loan and Grant Program. Experienced with USDA’s systems, Pathfinders’ staff prepared online and paper forms for submission by the City/s.
