SIDCA

Southern Iowa Development and Conservation Authority (SIDCA) was authorized by the Iowa Legislature in 1999 for the installation of on and off road structures and related projects that provide both transportation infrastructure and water resource benefits. The Authority is comprised of 10 counties across southern Iowa. The Iowa Legislature appropriated $2.6 million to SIDCA between 2002 and 2011 to fulfill this vision.  They were recently appropriated funds again in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
